SMARTY’s Plenary Meeting in Malta
On 1 and 2 December, we welcomed SMARTY partners to St Julian’s, Malta, for our 4th Plenary Meeting, held shortly before the EFECS conference, where we also participated.
Over these two days, colleagues from across Europe met in person to review our progress, exchange ideas, and plan the next steps for the SMARTY Chips JU Project. The agenda included technical updates, discussions on project milestones, and focused sessions on topics such as PQC accelerators, Software-Defined Perimeters, Confidential Computing, and edge computing.
Meeting face-to-face made it easier to address challenges, share different perspectives, and identify new opportunities for collaboration. These sessions also helped strengthen our working relationships and set clear priorities for the coming months.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us in St Julian’s and contributed to the open and productive discussions. Your input is essential to moving the project forward.
