Imagine converting raw network packet streams into visual matrices – this allows us to apply cutting-edge computer vision to rapidly and accurately classify network behaviors!

Here’s how our SMARTY methodology works:
- Real-time Preprocessing: We preprocess packet features in real-time to get them ready for analysis.
- Image-like Transformation: Network flows are transformed into image-like representations, making them suitable for processing by Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).
- Wirespeed Compatibility: This entire process is designed to meet the stringent latency requirements of wirespeed operations, ensuring no performance compromise.
We’ve benchmarked our approach against conventional machine learning classifiers using realistic traffic patterns and diverse attack scenarios from the 5G-NIDD dataset, proving its effectiveness against threats like SYN flood, UDP flood, and Slowrate DoS.
